How to Use Our Shipping & Print System with QZ Tray

Printing shipping labels directly from your browser has never been easier. By integrating our shipping system with QZ Tray, you can print labels quickly, securely, and reliably—without the hassle of downloading PDFs and manually sending them to your printer. This guide will walk you through the steps to get everything set up.

What is QZ Tray?

QZ Tray is a lightweight application that allows your web browser to communicate directly with your local printer. Think of it as a bridge between your online shipping system and your physical printer. With QZ Tray, you can print shipping labels, invoices, and receipts instantly, without leaving your browser.

Step 1: Download and Install QZ Tray

To start, you’ll need QZ Tray installed on your computer.

Once downloaded:

  1. Run the installer.
  2. Follow the on-screen instructions to complete installation.
  3. Launch QZ Tray—it should appear in your system tray (usually at the bottom-right corner of your screen).

Step 2: Connect QZ Tray to Our Shipping System

  1. Log in to our shipping system.
  2. Navigate to the Orders or Shipments page.
  3. Click Print Label for the order you want to print.

The system will automatically attempt to connect to QZ Tray.

Step 3: Grant Security Permissions

The first time you print, QZ Tray will ask for your permission to allow the connection:

  • Click Allow when prompted.
  • (Optional) Check “Remember this decision” to avoid future prompts.

This step ensures secure communication between your browser and printer.

Step 4: Select Your Printer and Print

After QZ Tray is connected:

  1. Select your preferred printer from the list.
  2. Confirm your print settings (paper size, orientation, etc.).
  3. Click Print.

Your shipping label should print instantly, ready to attach to your package.

Troubleshooting Tips

If printing doesn’t work, try these steps:

  • Ensure QZ Tray is running in your system tray.
  • Refresh your browser.
